The Similan Islands
Deep Six is situated on Similan Island number seven (Koh Pa-Yo) extending out as a group of large boulders from the island’s most northerly point. Swim-throughs and sheer walls typify the large central boulder where sizable trevally, sweetlips and tuna are common sights.
The surrounding outcrops play host to sea fans and soft corals, and Kuhl’s stingrays can be found in the sandy areas between. Smaller marine varieties, such as red fire gobies, nudibranchs, and blennies are worth seeking out around the pinnacles.
