Well, the New Year has come and it’s about time we featured another Thailand Scuba Diving video. This Similan Islands diving video was sent in by one of our lovely guests who joined us on-board MV Oktavia.
This weeks video has been kindly donated by Rob and Andrea, who joined us for a 2 Day & 2 Night Liveaboard back in November 2014. Despite only being able to join us for the first two days of our Five Day Cruise, they still managed to get the best of The Similan Islands, as Rob was diving and Andrea snorkelled.
This was Rob’s first ever attempt at making a diving video on his Go-Pro and we think he did a great job of capturing the wonderful rock formations and swim throughs that feature so heavily on the western dive sites of The Similan Islands.
Thanks for sharing Rob, and we hope to see you both again sometime in the future!
If you would also like to join us for a magical Thailand Scuba Diving or Snorkelling Liveaboard on-board MV Oktavia, you can experience The Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock for yourself by simply clicking the Contact Us tab and complete the Details Form – I’d love to hear from you 🙂 Our Similan Islands Liveaboard season starts from mid-October and runs through until 15 May each year. Between mid-May and Mid-October the Similan and Surin National Marine Parks are closed to the public. In addition to the low season monsoon that sweeps in from the south-west, the Parks are rewarded a well earned rest from the busy tourist season and are allowed to recover. This ensures we are able to keep enjoying these magical places year-on-year.
